Vintage vessels. New light.

Found & Fabled hand-pours small-batch candles into vintage vessels — rescued from attics, flea markets, and estate sales, each one carrying a little history before it ever holds a flame.

Every candle is hand-poured from our kitchen table, momma-made (literally, one momma), and gives back to Maine-based non-profits supporting causes we believe in.

Every candle is one of one.

Rosé the Day | Upcycled wine bottle candle
$24.00

Rose and vanilla scented candle made from am upcycled wine bottle, from the Wine Bar that sells the candles!

Because each candle lives in a genuine vintage find, no two are ever quite the same. Once a candle is gone, that particular candle’s vessel is gone for good.

Here are some examples from our collaboration with the Kittery Wine Bar!

Lavender Fields | Upcycled Wine Bottle
$16.00

Strong lavender scent with fresh lavender buds from our garden, hand-poured into an upcycled wine bottle.

Sparkling Limoncello | Vintage Silver Sugar Dish
$24.00

A cozy citrus scent with zested lemon garnish from our garden in a vintage silver sugar dish.

♥ Hand-poured.

From our table to yours.

Every candle is hand-poured in small batches, using clean-burning soy wax, 100% cotton wicks, and essential oils. We hunt for vessels first — a jar, a tin, a funky milk glass vase — and then hand-pour the candles and custom-scents into the vessel to create something new and old.

It's slow (like, real slow), one-at-a-time work, and that's the point. Nothing is mass produced, and ever vessel is one of a kind.

Literally, it’s one momma making these.

♥ Momma-made.

Found & Fabled is a passion project by a full-time working momma of two, who wanted to find a way to take her need for a creative outlet and turn it into something that gives back to local people and causes.

♥ Gives back.

Lit for a reason.

A portion of every candle we sell gives back to local, Maine-based nonprofits — causes we believe in for people who need it. People helping people is what it’s all about.

We rotate the organizations we support throughout the year, with a focus on causes close to home.
